If I am not running can I participate by being a volunteer? 
     YES...Volunteers are greatly appreciated and needed!   Please visit the Volunteer Info link on this site to get all the information needed on being a volunteer.  The Pre-Race  volunteer meeting will be announced soon for course review and task assignments.  Students please bring any volunteer hours verification forms you may have from your school. 

Will there be port-o-potties along the course?
     Sort of...bathrooms will be provided for you at  the race day expo. 

Will there be awards given out to the race winners?
     YES...Awards will be given out to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers in each age category.  Age categories are: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59. 60-69 and 70+ for the half marathon .  Elite Runners will have a separate category and awards will be for top three elites male and female.
5k fun run/walk: Awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers only male and female

When will results be posted?
     Race results will be posted as follows:
5k preliminary results will be posted at approx.  9:15 a.m
Half Marathon preliminary results will be posted at approx. 10:30

Is there a refund policy for this race?
     Sorry but no...there are no refunds!  But you can defer your entry to another one of our races in the future.  Checkout our link to Our Other Events page to see what is available throughout 2010.  If you choose a race with a higher entry fee, you will be required to pay the difference.  When you choose another race you would like to do just email us and we will get you set for that race.

Can I register for the race at the packet pick-up location? 
     YES...You can register for the race at the package pick-up on Packet pickup location to be announced soon.  There are NO Discounts  at expo registration and we only accept cash or checks. You can also register on line or by sending in the registration form.  The on line registration closes Oct 30 at midnight .  There is no race day registration.

When is Package pickup?
    Package pickup
Saturday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm in the hotel main ball room, please come early for best parking.  We will have a small expo at package pickup for all to enjoy.   There are NO DISCOUNTS available at expo registration.  This will be your last chance to register for this race, please bring cash or checks only.

Pasta Loading Dinner Special:
The Cafe' Pacifico will offer a pasta dinner package of a dinner salad, pasta antre'e (vegetarian and non vegetarian) with an iced tea / soft drink for $12.99 per athlete plus gratuity and tax. Dinner starts at 6:00 pm.

Parking? ... where do we park? 
    Follow the signs and the volunteers.  We have two large parking lots that should hold everyone.  Come early and be patient.  There will be hundreds of people trying to get into the same place all at once. 

Can I pick up my race packet and chip on race day??
     YES...you can pick up your race packet and chip on race day at the race day expo, but we advise you to come early!!  There may be hundreds of people doing the same and it may take a little time.  We advise you to go to the packet pick-up Saturday before race day instead.  Last minute check in on race day begins at 6:30 a.m. and ends at 7:30 a.m.  There is NO race day registration.

Can I pick up someone else's race items if they can not make it out on Saturday?
     YES...you can pick up a friend or relatives items.  Just please make sure to have their information and shirt size with you in case there are any problems.

Who gets to eat at the Post race feast?
    All athletes will be able to enjoy a post races feast as long as you have a green wrist bank on.  it will be in your goodie bag.  we do sell additional wrist bands for $3 so your friends and family can enjoy some great food with you.
